Audit: opportunities for Roofing World and what I would do in your place

I read your whole site (the home page, the estimator, the terms), your Google listing and all 87 reviews, the Smyrna pages of three competitors, and what AI assistants answer in English and Spanish when a roofing contractor near Smyrna asks which supply stores to use. In short: your customers love you, and your website never says where you are or how to call you. Below are 8 opportunities, each with a fix. Every number was read from a live page between 17 and 21 October 2026, sources at the bottom.

Opportunities and how to get them done

Each card: what the opportunity is, where you are now, what to do. The site was read on 21 October 2026, the Google listing and the AI answers on 17 October. Search Console, the inside of Google Analytics, your price list and your order book are invisible from outside.

Opportunity 1

Phone, address, hours and "Smyrna" on every page

Opportunity. A contractor on a roof opens your site on a phone and in one second sees the town, the hours and a button that calls you. That is the first thing every competitor page in Smyrna gives, and the one thing yours does not.

Where you are now. On the home page, the estimator and the terms there is no phone link, no address, no hours, and "Smyrna", "Atlanta" or "Cobb" appear zero times. The contact section reads "reach out using the below details", and below are Facebook, Instagram and a form. The footer says © 2022. The page has no description for Google. The comparison is in the table under this card.

The fixA header on every page with a tap-to-call number, "Smyrna, GA" and today's hours. The same block in the footer with the address and a map. The current year in the footer. A page description, plus business markup: a block hidden in the page code that tells Google and AI assistants your name, address, phone, hours and delivery radius.
Opportunity 2

AI assistants name Roofing World in Smyrna

Opportunity. Contractors and homeowners more and more often ask ChatGPT or Perplexity "where do I buy shingles in Smyrna". It is a new kind of search result, and it is still nearly empty: whoever gives the assistants plain facts gets named.

Where you are now. Perplexity, 4 answers in English and Spanish: Roofing World is named in none. Named instead: Preferred Roofing Supply (a supplier with a branch at 2615 Old Concord Rd in Smyrna, cited from its Smyrna page), ABC Supply, Beacon (a national chain, now part of QXO), Lowe's and BRS (a roofing supplier in Norcross). My reading, and it is an inference: assistants quote pages that state the town, the address and the hours in plain text, and your site states none of them.

The fixA few short pages that answer one question each in the first sentence: delivery (60 miles, forklift trucks), shingle grades (A, B-plus, B, C, what each one is for), "can I order by phone" with the number, roof measurements and contractor referrals. FAQ markup on the questions. Then the same questions to the assistants once a month to see the answers change.
Opportunity 3

The best rating, seen higher on the map

Opportunity. 4.9 from 87 reviews, with your replies under 81 of them, is the strongest profile among the roofing suppliers around you. A customer comparing three pins on a phone picks the highest rating, if they see it.

Where you are now. Google Maps, "roofing supply" from Smyrna: the paid QXO listing (4.3 from 29), Heely-Brown (4.6 from 117), ABC Supply (4.2 from 71), then you. In Spanish, "materiales para techos": Builders Surplus (4.7 from 3,116), ABC, then you. Your Google profile has 83 photos and no business description. The website it links to does not repeat the address, the phone or the hours.

The fixA business description in the profile, in English and Spanish. The same name, address, phone and hours on the site as on Google. A post a week with a yard photo. Keep replying to every review, as you do now. The order on the map is Google's decision, and I cannot promise a place; what we control is the facts Google reads.
Opportunity 4

A price people can see without calling

Opportunity. Customers already say you beat five other places on price. A price they can see on the site turns that from a rumor into a reason to order, at night, on a Sunday, from the roof.

Where you are now. There is not one price on the site. Price comes up in 30 of 87 reviews. On 11 February 2026 a customer wrote that after the phone quote they had to come in person "to check if it was true". The home page lists the grades (Designer, A, B-plus wrapped, B loose, C, architectural and 3-tab) with no price next to any of them.

The fixA price sheet by grade, "from $X per bundle", updated weekly, on its own page and next to each grade. If you would rather not publish prices for everyone, the same sheet only for contractors who sign in, plus a "text me today's price" button that gets a written answer in minutes. Which of the two is your call.
Opportunity 5

The estimator ends with a quote, not a form

Opportunity. Someone who filled in your estimator has a roof, a size and a list. That is the warmest lead you get. A priced answer with a delivery day, within minutes, in English or Spanish, is what turns the list into an order.

Where you are now. The estimator is good: from squares, waste, ridge, hips, valleys and pipe boots it counts bundles, ridge cap, starter, drip edge, felt, ice and water, nails and the load weight. "Confirm Order & Request Quote" then copies the list into the contact form on the home page. After that, the site says nothing about what happens or when.

The fixThe estimator list goes straight to the AI employee (described below). It prices the list from your sheet, checks the address against the 60-mile radius, and answers by WhatsApp, text or email with the total and the delivery day. In the first week every answer waits for your OK. The button tells the customer when the price comes back.
Opportunity 6

The site in Spanish

Opportunity. A Spanish-speaking contractor searching "materiales para techos" finds a real Spanish page with your grades, delivery and phone, and orders in Spanish. Google and AI assistants can only show Spanish pages that exist.

Where you are now. 13 of 87 reviews are in Spanish. The flag button on your site translates the page inside the visitor's browser only, so no Spanish address exists, and /es/ redirects to the estimator. On the Spanish map search you are third. ABC's Smyrna branch page has a real Spanish version.

The fixA WordPress translation plugin, WPML or TranslatePress (prices in the table below). It creates a real /es/ address for every page, adds a language switcher and marks the pages as Spanish for Google. The estimator, the grades, delivery and the FAQ in Spanish, translated and then read through by a person. The Google profile description in Spanish too.
Opportunity 7

An answer at any hour, and news after the order

Opportunity. A written answer at 6 PM on a Wednesday or 2 PM on a Saturday, then a confirmation, a "truck has left" text and a photo of the drop. That is what contractors get from the big distributors' apps, and it fits a yard your size on one phone.

Where you are now. Google lists you Monday to Friday 8 to 4 and Saturday 8 to 12. Preferred's Smyrna branch: 6 AM to 7 PM, Saturday to 4 PM. One of your two 1-star reviews: "Noone answered phone. Door locked during business hours." ABC's app promises "24/7 access to view the status of their orders and deliveries, including delivery photos"; SRS and QXO apps offer delivery tracking too. Your site does not describe a confirmation, a departure notice or a drop photo. I cannot see what you do inside, you may well send these by hand; a customer just does not know it before ordering.

The fixEvery message (WhatsApp, text, form, email, Facebook) gets a written answer at any hour from the AI employee. Every order ends with a confirmation listing items and total, a text when the truck leaves and the driver's drop photo. One line about this on the delivery page, so customers know before they order.
Opportunity 8

A site that looks as good as the yard works

Opportunity. I opened your site and three competitors on a desktop and on a phone. On function you have one thing none of them shows on the page, the estimator, and none of their overlays: Preferred's privacy window covers half the phone screen. You fall behind on the first screen, and that is fixed in Elementor without rebuilding the site.

Where you are now. The first screen of the home page on a phone: the company name, "Your trusted partner for quality roofing solutions" and a Contact Us button. No product, no town, no hours, no phone. Preferred's first screen says "Roofing supply in Smyrna, GA" with the hours and four call buttons; ABC's shows the phone and a "Text Us" link. Your home page on a phone is 10,713 pixels tall, about 13 screens. The menu items are jumps inside that one page. Google's speed test on 17 October: 60 out of 100 on a phone, the largest element of the first screen appears after 6.7 seconds.

The fixA first screen that says "Roofing supply in Smyrna, GA", today's hours, delivery within 60 miles, and three buttons: Call, WhatsApp, Estimate. The grades as cards with a photo and a price line. A shorter phone page with the long text moved to its own pages. Lighter images so the first screen loads faster. Keep the colors, the logo and the WhatsApp button: they are recognizable and they work.

Beyond the site: 3 moves

Not site edits, but how to sell. Each one stands on a fact from your own site or reviews. Nothing here needs data I do not have, such as margins or headcount.

How to sell

  • The B-grade list as news. Your site calls B-grade loose shingles "our most popular and economical". Stock of B-grade changes by the load. A short WhatsApp or text message to contractors who asked for it, "B-grade architectural in today, charcoal and weathered wood", is the kind of note a price-driven buyer acts on the same day. Consent only.
  • Homeowners into jobs for your contractors. You already offer homeowners free digital roof measurements, material lists and referrals to qualified contractors. A page "measure my roof" with an address field turns that into a steady flow: the homeowner gets a list, the contractor who buys from you gets the job. That gives contractors one more reason to buy here besides price.

How to run it

  • Saturday afternoon and after 4 PM in writing. You close at 4 on weekdays and at noon on Saturday. Contractors plan tomorrow's job in the evening. If every message after closing gets a written answer with the price and the first delivery slot, the order is booked before the yard opens, and the morning phone rush gets shorter.

What already works: leave it alone

Your advantages

  • Google 4.9 from 87 reviews: 83 five-star. You replied to 81 of them. Rada is named in 14.
  • Price is the reason customers give most often: 30 of 87 reviews.
  • Delivery within 60 miles on forklift trucks, dumpster rental, free roof measurements and contractor referrals, and roof replacement for clients without a contractor.
  • A full range of grades, from Designer and A-grade to B-plus, B and C, in architectural and 3-tab.

The technical base

  • The estimator: 7 material lines plus the load weight, a print button and a handoff into the form. None of the three competitors shows anything like it on their pages.
  • A WhatsApp button on every page, and an SMS-consent line already in the contact form.
  • Google Analytics through Site Kit, Metricool and Mailmunch already installed.
  • No pop-up over the content, unlike Preferred's privacy window.

The one-month plan

Everything above gets done within the month, the AI employee included. After that, maintenance. The table lists only what is finished by the end of each week.

WhenWhat is done
Week 1Phone, address, hours and "Smyrna, GA" in the header and footer of every page, the current year, the page description and business markup. The new first screen with Call, WhatsApp and Estimate. The Google profile description. Access and the folder received, the knowledge base started. The AI employee connected to WhatsApp, the form and email, drafting answers that you approve one by one.
Week 2The estimator hands its list to the AI employee and the customer gets a priced answer. Fact pages: delivery, grades, ordering by phone, roof measurements, with FAQ markup. The price sheet by grade, public or for contractors only, as you decide. The AI employee answers hours, delivery and grade questions on its own, in English and Spanish.
Week 3The translation plugin installed, /es/ live for the home page, the estimator, grades, delivery and FAQ, read through by a person. Order confirmations, "truck has left" texts and drop photos on every delivery. The shorter phone home page and lighter images.
Week 4The "measure my roof" page for homeowners. The opt-in list for B-grade news. Weekly Google posts drafted by the AI employee. The same questions asked of the AI assistants again, to compare with October.
AfterMaintenance: the weekly price sheet, review replies, the monthly check of what AI assistants answer, looking after the AI employee and the knowledge base.

Data

The tables the audit above stands on. You do not have to read them. Each one shows where an opportunity is hiding.

Google Maps from Smyrna (my SEO tool stack, 17 October 2026)

In English you are the third business result after the paid slot, in Spanish the third result. In both you have the highest rating of the businesses shown.

Nobody in Smyrna shows prices. The first supplier who does, together with an estimator, has something no one nearby has.

Tools and prices

The third-party tools the plan above needs. Prices from the vendors' sites in October 2026. WordPress, Elementor, Google and WhatsApp you already have.

What I can do

I can close all eight opportunities for you. The first working pieces (contact facts on every page, the new first screen, the Google description) within the first week after access, the rest within the month, per the plan above. Firmer once I see what you have inside: the price list, how you count orders now, who answers WhatsApp.

The tools in the table above are the bricks. On top of them we would set up an AI employee for you that works 24 hours a day with no days off. In the simplest terms: it is not a chat bot with canned buttons but a versatile worker. It reads every inbound message (WhatsApp, texts, the site form and the estimator, email, Facebook and Instagram), knows your business from a knowledge base (grades, prices, delivery radius, minimums, common questions, how you talk to customers) and answers the way you would, in English and Spanish. What it can do: price an estimator list, quote the delivery day, send the confirmation and "truck has left", draft a review reply or a Google post, write the B-grade news to contractors who asked for it, compile a morning brief for you, and anything else it has access to the data for. What it does not do: it never touches cards, payments or the bank, never quotes below your sheet and never makes credit decisions; those stay with you. In the first week it works in drafts only and you approve every answer. After that the easy answers go out on their own. The one-time setup is mine, the daily routine is its, and the calls and the yard stay yours.

Every morning before the yard opens, a text report to you: what came in overnight, quotes waiting for your OK, today's deliveries.

Example: a Saturday afternoon

A hypothetical scenario to give you the idea. The real process is adjusted to how you run the business: whatever can be automated gets automated; where a human is needed, a human decides.

14:20
The yard closed at noon. A contractor fills in your estimator for a 30-square roof, writes a note in Spanish and taps "Request Quote".
14:22
The AI employee prices the list from your sheet, checks that the address is inside 60 miles and writes back on WhatsApp in Spanish: the total and "delivery Monday morning".
14:30
The contractor answers "sí". The order goes into your morning report as "confirm Monday route".
Mon 07:40
You reply "ok". The customer gets "truck has left". After the drop the driver's photo goes to the customer. Two days later, a review request.

If you decide to work with me, here is what I would need

In short

The eight opportunities above are what I would act on in your place, in the order given, within a month. Most of the site work you can also do yourselves. The page stays useful even if we never speak again.

If the audit matches how you see the business, tell me what you want help with: just the site, just the quotes and the after-hours answers, or all of it with the AI employee. I will prepare a quote for that.
